Spice Up your Tea : How to make Chai Masala at home

I love my Chai , give a book a reading corner and hot Masala Chai. My day is made.

You can make amazing Masala Chai at home, if you can get the masala right. I like to grind my own mixture. Though the exact quantities would depend on your taste, I can give you a list magic

Ingredients :

  • 2 table spoon Dry ginger powder (or 2 big chunks of dry ginger )
  • 2 tbsp cardamom
  • 1 tsp Nutmeg
  • 10-14 cloves
  • 3 tbsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Rose Petals
  • 2 tsp dried Mint leaves
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • Some dry Tulsi leaves (optional)

Blend all ingredients together in a blender to make a fine powder and add a teaspoon to your chai every day. Amount of ingredients can be adjusted as per taste.
