It is a technique that allows fat to simply melt away. It is a non-surgical treatment where there is No Down Time, No Side Effects, No Lumpiness. NidSun Weight Loss has brought the latest and the best Fat loss “in” thing to Delhi and Chandigarh possible. We have successfully done over 15,000 procedures on patients since 2009. It’s focused ultrasound that targets fat cells.

What is it?

Ultrasound cavitation is a non-invasive fat blasting technology that uses acoustic waves to rupture fat cell membranes that store fat in the sub-dermal layer of skin, allowing the liquefied fat to be excreted and metabolized naturally and safely by the body. It’s similar to the ultrasound technology used to blast away kidney stones. A circular motion of ultrasound probe prevents the possibility of targeting the same area again. A significant amount of fluid and lymphatic liquid will be released via the urinary track. One should be well hydrated before the treatment, and can expect an above-normal amount of diuresis for up to 24 hours after treatment. A temporary change in urine color and smell is normal. Lipo-emulsification is not used for weight loss but for contouring. Patients usually just feel a warm, perhaps tingly sensation or may not feel anything as the transducer is gently smoothed across the targeted area. The procedure will feel familiar to anyone who has had an ultrasound scan during pregnancy or other medical conditions.

Why

It is totally a non-invasive and a non-surgical procedure, and it doesn’t need any downtime. One can easily return to normal activities post session. There is no risk of any infection, scarring or irregularities and delivers a good amount of shrinkage, circumference reduction, toning and contouring. Patients with round tummies, love handles, buttocks, hips and saddlebags on thighs are ideal targets for the technology. Only areas with 1.5 cm or more of fat are suitable for treatment. The procedure relies on ultrasound technology to target a patient’s subcutaneous layer of the skin where fat cells are stored. Ultrasound emits sound waves to create cavitation micro-bubbles in the interstitial fluid. The fluid then discharges a vapor that collapses the fat cell, releasing fatty acids that are then metabolized and eliminated from the body.
