So. As promised I am dissecting diet today more specifically I am doing it on #desimuscles meals I give to my weightloss clients vs what you think a weight loss meal should be / or is given by most dietitians for weight-loss .

It’s kinda rant and I am going to bash vedeshi khana and punishment diets like how My clients sometimes compliant my food is boring coz there are not many cuisines point taken working on that..but kya karun I am a desi can’t let go of the pind inside of me.
.
So. This meals Vs. Sandwich/some boring ass bland sabzi with chokar wali roti ….not even getting to only banana day cheela day or paneer day then this post would be 200 pages .

Dissecting this meal
1. French Beans and Aloo : beans are greens no brainer they are healthy AF. also Cut Aloo is not bad it absorbs oil so u can always cook this in less oil and you’re good to go. Other weight loss diets have kaddo/ tooori nothing against them but only that is boring.

2. Amritsari Choole: aka my fav #chickpeas are a great source of protein. I know it has carbs too. But my lovelies you need those for energy. Most dietitians would say no to them and rajma. So you happily give them up. Also they tell you no weight training if you want to lose weight. Yeah right also you need to go get a life. My plans sometimes make people gain weight also. Going on record and saying it . yes. Because you’ll gain muscles but you’ll lose fat faster and it’s for your good in the long run.

3. Whole wheat Roti: i have 3-4 rotis in my meals and my plans have roti always. Why ? Because you need them. I understand gluten intolerance and therapeutic cases. But mostly Indians grew up having roti so i don’t understand when they do fancy diets and say i was told i don’t lose weight because i am gluten intolerant my reaction is kill me already how do you explain those lean men who do manual labor , have 10 rotis in a meal or your maid whose extremely skinny (and strong). Also I don’t get the whole chokar wali roti jazz. I mean do you extract juice and put some pulp back ?? No right then don’t. Be normal…it goes a long way…off course bread is fermented high in GI and roti is better .
